A machine for splicing portions of wood peeling (17) which acts automatically using groups in sequence (13,14,18,19,21) to prepare and mould (13) facing edges (16,87) of portions of wood peeling for splicing, to coat with bonding material (14) the prepared facing edges of the successive portions and to lay them one on top of the other and to press them into coupling together (18), in such a way as to obtain a continuous sheet, that can be cut to a preset longitudinal measurement (19), which is also of constant thickness along the superimposed spliced edges, and finally to remove and to stack automatically (21) the individual peelings cut into sheets (20) thus obtained.
