Zusammenfassung:	A housing or cladding for electronic switch tripping units makes it possible for conventional switches to be manufactured automatically with a conventional switch housing which ensures external access to electronic switch options which can be selected by a rotary switch and are contained on a common printed circuit board. A computer program controls the number of selected options, the fitting of switches for non-selected options on the circuit board being omitted during the assembly process. Plates or discs which are provided with openings and have markings are then arranged selectively on corresponding selector switches which are fitted on the printed circuit board. The shape of the openings in the discs or plates determines the rotation range of the corresponding selector switches.
