Zusammenfassung:	A device for feeding packaging material to a bag-forming machine has a conveying roll pair (14, 15) conveying continuously with uniform speed and a transverse cutter (16). For the intermittent transfer of a blank (3), cut off from the packaging material fed as strip (1), to a folding apparatus (11, 12) of the bag-forming machine, a conveyor belt pair (24) is arranged downstream of the transverse cutter, which conveyor belt pair receives the cut-off blank and feeds it with elevated speed, compared with the conveying speed of the packaging material strip (1), to the folding apparatus (11, 12).
