Zusammenfassung: | In the prodn. of acetyl chloride (I) from acetic acid (IIA) or acetic anhydride (IIB) and PCl3; a) (IIA) and PCl3,. pref. in a mo molar equiv. ratio of 1.3-1.4:1, are reacted at an ambient temp. of 20-30 deg.C; b) the upper phase (F1) contg. most of (I) and (IIA) is psped. form the lower phase (Al) contg. mainly phosphorous acid and a little (I); c) (F1) is distilled fractionally, with continuous introduction of HCl gas, and (I) is discharged as top prod., then the residue contg. most of (IIA) is recycled; and d) (I) is extracted from (Al) with PCl3 at ambient temp. and the upper phase (F2) contg. the mixt. of PCl3 and (I) is recycled, whilst the PCl3 in the phosphorus acid lower phase (A2) is reacted with water at a temp. below 40 deg.C. |
