Zusammenfassung:	To clean air contaminated by the products used in paint spraying equipment or a dryer, an incinerator (1) is used with a combustion chamber (2) at the bottom. Contaminated air entering a side connection (12) above the combustion chamber is preheated by a heat exchanger (11) and then travels downwards through a vertical channel (15) towards the burner (3) at the bottom and also passing through a hole (4) sloping downwards above the burner, to enter an after burner chamber (5) containing sloping catalytic elements (6,7). The axis (9) of the burner gases and for axis (8) of the air through the hole (4) intersect at the back of the combustion chamber for a thorough mixing and temperature equalisation before entering the after burner chamber. It then passes through a sloping based gird (16) with ribs (17) for discharge past the preheater and through a top outlet (14).
