Zusammenfassung:	The shut-off device is a hollow cylinder upon which is disposed a brake for fixing the position of the device in the pipeline and a seal which seals the area between the hollow cylinder and the wall of the pipeline. A valve is positioned in the hollow cylinder which allows flow of the pipeline fluid through the hollow cylinder when open but can be closed to stop the flow of pipeline fluid through the cylinder. The device is movable through the pipeline.
