Zusammenfassung:The input signal (1) from the magnetic tape unit passes through a pulse shaper (2) and a series chain consisting of a delay element (10), bistable (12) and shift register (21). The output of the pulse shaper is also applied to a multiplexer (9) whose outputs control an up/down counter (19), the two elements being connected between the bistable and the shift register. The output of the delay element also resets a second counter (14) that provides the second input for the bistable. Synchronisation of the multiplexer and shift register is provided by a clock circuit (23) which consists entirely of discrete elements.
