Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An element for stiffening or reinforcing a flexible substrate such as a shoe upper or clothing is made from powder deposited on a receiving surface (22) through a deposition means (30). The deposition means (30) comprises a stencil (42) with a cut-out, having spacer means on the bottom side. The powder, once applied to the receiving belt (22) in a desired three-dimensional configuration is rotated to a heating station where it is fused and then rotated to a press and cool station. After chilling and pressing the fused powder is removed from the receiving surface (22) which is subsequently advanced to repeat the process.
