Zusammenfassung:	A system includes resistance welding apparatus to be supported by the pipeline, and a longitudinal support structure with rollers supporting the pipeline with its axis parallel to the structure. A cross-piece extending between two vehicles suspends the structure above the pipeline. An outer flash trimmer is secured to one support end and an inductor for heat-treatment of welds is mounted on the other end. The structure is pref. pivotably suspended, and each end of the cross-piece is suspended from a vertical member on the respective vehicle with vertical projection bisecting the vehicle track width.
