On the insulating base plate is secured a magnetic yoke with a coil, a coil core, and an armature with a switching contact. The contact co-operating with at least one counter-contact on the base plate. Some of these parts are galvanically contacted. In the region of the contact position (44) some of the metallic parts (25,26) have deformations (33) which after insertion into the base plate (10) abut another metallic part in order to form contacting zone (31). At least one of the terminals in the form of a flat plug strip passes through the base plate and has an embossed bead in the section (25a,26a) above the base plate. The bead is abutted by a section of another metal part to form a welding zone. The beads on the terminals may form opposite deformations on contact strips upon abutment. The strips are inserted in slots (29) of the coil frame (13), and are contacted at the other end by the wire end of the relay coil (12).
