Zusammenfassung:	In a process in which a mixt. of solids is used (esp. for charging a coke oven with a mixt. of coking coal particles and non-coking coal agglomerates), the mixt. is poured successively into each compartment of a vessel (esp. a coal hopper above the coke oven) which is vertically subdivide into a no. of such compartments, each having an outlet in the vicinity of the vessel's outlet. The vertical compartments suppress the demixing which normally occurs when a mixt. of the fine and coarse particles is poured into a hopper.
