A flow regulator comprises a mobile slide valve 9 arranged to open and close a first passage between a feeding duct 13, which connects a source of pressurized fluid to the regulator, and a utilisation duct 14, which connects the regulator itself to the user, and a second passage between the said feeding duct 13 and a discharge duct 15, and is provided with means 36, 37 in said ducts 14, 15, respectively arranged to keep substantially constant both the pressure jump between a first zone 40 along the said feeding duct 13 and a second zone 41 along the said utilisation duct 14 and the pressure jump between the said second zone 41 and a third zone 42 along the discharge duct, in order to prevent the control of the flow from being affected by fluid pressure variations between a zone situated upstream and a zone situated downstream of the regulator. The position of the slide valve 9 is determined by the degree of opening of a solenoid valve 35.
