Zusammenfassung:	A pallet comprises a plate (1) of compressed wood to the under surface of which are fastened two outer and a central plastics injection moulded skids (2,3). The upper surface of the plate (1) is formed with sloping grooves which carry away liquids to outlet channels (6). The lower surface of the plate has stiffening beads. Each skid (2,3) comprises two outer, and one central, hollow feet (8, 9) interconnected by a ribbed plate. The skids (2,3) are fastened to the plate (1) by bolts (12) passing through holes in the plate (1) and through columns disposed centrally in the feet (8,9) of the skids.
