Zusammenfassung:A back plate and an absorbent plate below which there is a series of pref. rectangular conduits for a heat transporting liquid, are bonded by a mattress of a foam such as an isocyanurate or a polyol, expanded by "FREON" (RTM). This gives a rigid self supporting structure for a solar heat collecting panel which is formed in a mould so that the foam presses the conduits tightly against the absorbent panel. The frame of the panel may support a window enclosing a cavity in which the greenhouse effect is produced. The absorbent panel is coated with a mixture of polyvinylidene-fluoride, acrylic resin and a pigment. The efficiency and reliability for continuous service of the panels are improved, the cost price is reduced, and the self-supporting panels may be used either as wall or roofing sections.
