Zusammenfassung:	Liquids such as heavy hydrocarbons and/or water are separated from natural gas by introducing the gas stream containing the liq. components continuously into a zone of centrifugal forces and by drawing off at least a part of the separated liq.. The amt. of liq. which has been separated and precipitated is drawn off by a pressure differential between the liq. and the gas side stream which has been generated in the swirling gas flow. This system operates with a high separation efficiency even when the amt. of liq. is small. The capital cost is greatly reduced because of the small overall dimensions of the required centrifugal separator. Even immiscible liq. phases are efficiently separated.
