The present invention relates to a self-propelled device (10) and a charging station (20). The self-propelled device (10) is equipped with a battery and a charging socket (15) comprising electrical contacts (18) and is apt to enable the battery to be recharged by means of the electrical contacts (18). The charging station (20) comprises a body (21, 22) equipped with a power head (25) fitted with electrical contacts (28), configured to be detachably coupled with, and at least partially inserted within, the charging socket (15). The charging station (20) is configured to allow a transfer of electrical energy between the electrical contacts (28) of the power head (25) and the electrical contacts (18) of the charging socket (15) by at least partial deformation of the electrical contacts (28) of the power head (25) and/or electrical contacts (18) of the charging socket (15).
