POSTAZIONE, SISTEMA E METODO DI MONITORAGGIO AMBIENTALE DI EVENTI PRECIPITATIVI

Object of the invention is a station for the environmental monitoring of precipitation events comprising at least two receivers intended to receive a radio signal transmitted from one or more satellites and to measure the power of the electric signal generated by the reception of the radio signal, said receivers having at least one different characteristic such to generate electric signals different for the same radio signals reaching the station, a processing unit operatively connected to the receivers to calculate a differential scattering parameter function of powers of electric signals measured by the at least two receivers and to relate said parameter with the precipitation intensity in an area under investigation being provided. Object of the invention is also a corresponding method and a system for the environmental monitoring.
