PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn guide-positioning device for a warp knitting machine that can perfectly or partially overcome the problems relating to a stopper. SOLUTION: The yarn guide (5)-positioning device for a warp-knitting machine is equipped with an operation part (1) that changes its shape under the effect of the quantity of electricity. A measurement probe (15) generates an actual positional value (Si) corresponding to an actual position. The program generates desiring positions (A-C) as positioning target values (Ss ). The quantity of electricity (Coulomb) is determined by a controlling circuit (20) and the actual positioning value (Si) is kept almost equal to the target positioning values (Ss ). Thus, a stopper for positioning the yarn guide (5) can be perfectly or partially omitted.
