Zusammenfassung:The fish-rearing cage comprises a frame (2) with a mesh chamber (1) and a float (4), designed to be anchored below water level by lines (10,15) and weights (9,16). A flexible element (6) with negative buoyancy is suspended under the frame. The flexible element has a weight which increases in stages along its length towards its free end, with the weight of each stage exceeding the variation in buoyancy caused by changed in hydrostatic pressure with increases in depth corresponding to the length of the stages.
