Zusammenfassung:	Improved apparatus for folding the flaps of boxes, especially for packaging machines, comprising means of picking up and opening a box 2 of cardboard or other suitable material, a main chain 10 for moving said box 2 into a routing area 3, means of filling or insertion of products into the box 2, which is arranged on a stationary plane 12, a plane 32 for folding and closing the side flaps of said box 2, means of securing of same. Said apparatus has sliding guides 22 for folding the bottom, back 8 and front 6 flaps of said box 2, arranged in the routing area 3 between said plane 12 and the plane 32, or able to be connected to them, two secondary chains 14 for partial movement, situated at said guides 22 on the sides of said area 3.
