Electronic device for checking the application of a load current and corresponding procedure

An electronic device 20, such as radio telephone, can be connected to an electric power source of variable level 22. The electronic device 20 comprises a rechargeable power source of electric energy 70 as a part thereof. The control signals 28 of the electric power source are generated by applying to the electric power source a variable level 22 to indicate the voltage levels of the rechargeable electric power supply 70. The voltage levels of the electrical operating energy generated by the electric power source of variable level 22 are made to match the level of response to the measured levels of the voltage of the rechargeable electric power source 70. The voltage levels of the electrical operating energy of the variable-level power supply 22 thus "track" the voltage levels of the rechargeable electric power supply 70.
