SISTEMA PERFEZIONATO DI CONTROLLO DELLE VELOCITA' OPERATIVE DI UN TELAIO TESSILE

PURPOSE: To adapt an operating speed to speeding up of a loom by smoothly and effectively adaptively controlling the operating speed to a desired value. CONSTITUTION: In the control of the operating speed of the loom, a flywheel 3 directly coupled to a main induction motor 1 via a shaft 2 is freely disconnectably connected to a spindle 9 of the loom via a clutch 4 controlled by a logic unit 5 and connecting gear sets 7 and 8 through a cable 6. The controller is so constituted that the spindle 9 and the flywheel 3 are disconnected by a clutch 4 and a brake 11 is actuated by the logic unit 5 through a cable 12 to stop the connecting gear 7 at a home position and to stop the rotation of the spindle 9. The main induction motor 1 is also controlled by the logic unit 5 via a frequency converter 13 of a phase inverter type, by which the easy adaptation of the operating speed of the loom to the desired value is made possible but the backward operation without requiring special members is made possible as well.
