Zusammenfassung:A balance to determine the mass of a load independent of the locally variable gravitational acceleration has a level switch for determining an oblique position of the balance on the balance frame, a magnetic detector for the detection of an external magnetic field and an isolation device for the isolation of a load plate of the balance from its measuring system. The level switch, the magnetic detector and the isolation device are all connected to an evaluation computer of the balance in such a way that the latter enables the actuation of a calibration device of the balance only when the level switch reports no inclination, the magnetic detector reports no external magnetic field and the isolation device reports the isolation of the load plate from the measuring system.
