Process to realize box-mattresses or similar products

The present invention concerns a process to mattresses or similar products.The process consists of two phases. In the first phase a block of synthetic stuff, preferably fibre or foaming material, is punched according to the arranged depth and to a section profile designed on one side.In the second phase the block is pressed between a hot plate working on the internal side of the punched area and a contrasting cold plate.By cooling the block we obtain a sort of vat and the pressed material forms a semi rigid felt with a limited thickness, which can be used as a support for a set of springs to be set on said felt.The block is then coupled with a cover block, which should be obtained with the same process, and is then introduced into a cover.
