Zusammenfassung:	In a sensor (10) for the detection of solar irradiation (insolation) into a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, at least two photodiodes (12, 13), separated optically from each other, are arranged so that each photodiode (12, 13) determines the light irradiation from a different direction. At the same time, a temperature sensor (16) is arranged between the photodiodes (12, 13). By means of this design, both an individual control of the air conditioning installation is possible for different places in the passenger cell, and also the influence of the direct solar irradiation can be detected and taken into account.
