Also aimed are DNA fragmengene, moleculess ontg, the structural of replicable recombinant DNA for expression in a host microorganism obtd. by uniting a cloning vector with the DNA, microorganisms transformed with te DNA chosen from E.coi, Bacii and yeasts and poypeptides characterised by a specified amino acid sequence or fragments having a biological equivaent to that of natural isoamylase. Also caimed is Pseudomonas SMPI ATCC 53651 characterised in that in the culture medium it roouces large quantities of he isoamyase enzyme having good bioogial activity and thermal stability.
