Zusammenfassung:	Novel compounds of formula (I): wherein R, is H, C1-6 alkyl, C3-7 cycloalkyl, phenyl, or phenyl (C1-4) alkyl, R2 and R3 are independently H or C1-3 alkyl, R4 and R5 are independently H, C1-3 alkyl or 2-propenyl; A is -CO- or -SO2-, n is 2 to 5, provided that R1 is not H when A is -SO2-, and physiologically acceptable salts and solvates e.g. hydrates thereof have potent and selective vasoconstrictor activity and are indicated as useful for the treatment of migraine. Intermediates of formula II are also claimed.
