Knitting trim cover for seat

Cover has side regions surrounding a central region and is produced by knitting an elastic yarn on a flat-bed machine to form an area of gradually reducing width, with a side of the area concavely curved, then continuing to knit a second area with the width gradually increasing and with the side connected to the concave side of the first area. The two areas form the central region from which the side regions extend downwardly. The yarn is pref. a woolen yarn and the knitting is pref. continued into a straight third area, a fourth area with reducing width to form concave sides, and a fifth area with increasing width. The central region pref. covers the uper surface of a foam fushion.
