Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A heat exchanger with coiled piping, comprising housing which is fitted with end sections and inner cylindrical mandrel for coil windings. The ends of coiled pipes are fixed in bores of end sections. Support plates connected to mandrel are rigidly fitted to housing at both ends at a certain distance from end sections. Ends of coiled pipes extend through bores in support plates, whilst bores are provided for fluid flow. Support consists of concentrical annular elements, whereby the number of adjacent pairs equals the number of coil windings and bores are formed by two semi-bores in adjacent annular elements. Detents are rigidly fitted in support plate, the outer end of which contacts coil windings. End sections are welded to housing. Chambers are formed between support plates and the end sections. Bores in support plates are aligned with bores in end sections. A fluid is introduced into chamber via connecting pipe and passes through bore into coil winding chamber. The fluid passes subsequently through bores in second support plate into chamber and further to outlet connecting pipe. The load exerted on connections of coiled pipe ends with sections due to the weight of the coils, expansions and seismic stresses, can be distributed over support plates and housing.
