Zusammenfassung:A thermal insulator for the building industry has an outer casing of foamed polymer, with a degree of foaming of 10-25 and in the external shape of the insulator, and at least one core of thermally insulating particles. The core is hermetically sealed inside an impervious plastic envelope and is compressed sufficiently to prevent its distortion in service; the core volume is not more than 70% of the total and the thickness of the outer casing is not less than 1/60 of the greatest dimension of the complete insulator.
