Zusammenfassung:	An oven comprises a circulating air blower, a fan wheel (19) of which lies behind a baffle wall (12), which at least in part bounds a cooking space (1) of the oven at one side and which has a central induction opening (18), air guide elements, and exhaust openings (16, 17) in the proximity of adjoining side walls (7, 8) of the cooking space. A heater element (4) is present in the proximity of an upper wall (3). The induction opening (18) and the fan wheel (19) are arranged above the horizontal central cooking space plane and the exhaust openings (16, 17) are arranged one on each side of the fan wheel (19) at different spacings from the heater element (4), the exhaust opening (16) for a downwardly directed air current from the fan wheel having a smaller spacing from this element than the exhaust opening (17) for an upwardly directed air current.
