Zusammenfassung:	Controlled cross-linking of unsatd. polyester resins is carried out in the presence of (a) a metal cation-contg. accelerator, (b) an organic peroxide initiator, and opt. (c) a promoter. The cross-linking is effected in the presence of 0.005-0.5 (pref. 0.01-0.1)% (based on the wt. of the resin) of a cpd. (I) of the formula (where R1-R4 are H, OH, NO2, SO3H or SO3Na, with the proviso that at least one is not H), cross-linking being indicated by a colour change in the reaction medium. The technique allows visual control of the process.
