Zusammenfassung: | Appts. of heat-pipe type includes an evaporator chamber (1) to which external heat is applied and contg. a coaxial filling of capillary-pored material impregnated with liq. heat transfer medium. Vapour from heated medium is collected in a pattern of longitudinal grooves (9) intersected by circumferential grooves (10) in the filling exterior, and delivered from the collection chamber through an external pipe (13) to a separate condenser (4). The condenser has an outer housing (14) sepd. by a downwardly tapering gap from an inner housing (15), and insulated from the surroundings. The return pipe (21) for condensed medium starts near the gap base and terminates in the more distant end compartment (5) of the two such compartments in the evaporator. |
