Zusammenfassung: | A spectrometer has a vacuum chamber with a beam inlet opening and a thermoelectric cooler containing packages (16, 17) of Peltier elements and a heat conducting plate (8) in the semiconducting detector and F.E.T. on its cooler side and a radiator to disperse heat on its warmer side. Optimum cooling conditions are achieved for the semiconducting detector and F.E.T. whilst maintaining low wt., small dimensions, and low spectrometer power consumption. The packages (16, 17) are mounted in unit construction with the plate (8) of the cooler (5). The detector (49) package (16) maintains minimum temp. The F.E.T. (50) package (A) maintains maximum cooling power. |
