Zusammenfassung:	The slidingly guided feedbelt for wood-sanding machines and the like which are made of rubber or plastic with embedded fabric reinforcements have a tendency to sustain distortions due to their unsymmetrical layer structure which continuously impair their plane-parallel guiding in the work region and questions their very suitability. The invention provides only a single reinforcement layer on the underside of the fabric sliding layer in symmetrical alignment therewith, so that the unavoidable vulcanisation shrinkage balances out and as a result the desired plane-parallel disposition is maintained.
