Zusammenfassung:The action of a dental percussion tool may be observed by using a stroboscopic light source synchronised with the vibrating tool. The light is guided and focussed on to the tool by fibre optics inside the hand held tool holder. Light from a strobing source (28) is conducted by an optical fibre cable (10) and is focused onto the vibration tool (3). A transducer in the holder (2) detects the frequency of vibration and generates the synchronising control signal for the light source (14). (First major country equivalent to AT8202196)
