Zusammenfassung:The filter hose has a hose body (2) made of two warp thread systems, the edges of the open end faces being knitted from one warp thread system and being formed in the shape of a double edge (5), so that cuffs (4) are formed on the filter hose, the double edge (5) being joined to the hose body (2) by the warp threads of the other system which are knitted into the mesh structure of the body knit. The cuff (4) of the filter hose has an additional section (6), and the hose body has stiffening ribs. For knitting the filter hose, thermoplastic threads are used, non-bulking multi-filament yarn being used as the thermoplastic threads of one warp thread system, from which yarn mesh rows with fringe bonding are knitted, and textured threads being used as the thermoplastic threads of the second warp thread system, from which threads mesh rows with "modified tricot" bonding are knitted. The filter hose made with these threads is subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature which effects a shrinkage of the threads. The filter hose is virtually non-extensible and has the same strength both along the length and around the circumference.
