Zusammenfassung:Such an apparatus has a cutter shield (1), followed by a trailing shield (11) with end formwork (3) for in-situ concrete lining. The trailing shield (11) consists of shield segments (12) which are arranged so as to be displaceable in the driving direction by cylinders (15) connected between them and the end formwork (3) or the cutter shield (1) so that the shield segments (12) can be advanced individually and smaller forces are required when drawing up the end formwork (3). In addition, better release of the trailing shield (11) from the in-situ concrete is obtained by advancing individual segments.
