Zusammenfassung:	Extruded polyamide (eg Nylon 6) filaments are cooled and then passed through a conditioning zone in which they are pref. heated, before being wound up at >=3,000 m/min. Pref. the filaments pass vertically through the conditioning zone which is dependent on the winding up speed. Pref. the winding up speed is =5,000 m/min. The filaments are taken up at high speed and are partially drawn to produce a degree of molecular orientation. The filaments can be subsequently texturised.
