Zusammenfassung:Monoazo dispersion dyes of formula (I) are new. In the formula, R and R1 are CN or 2-8C carbalkoxy; Y is the gp. of the coupling component derived from 1-phenyl 5-amino pyrazole, 1-phenyl 5-hydroxy pyrazole, indole, mono- or di-alkylamino-benzene or - naphthalene or 6-hydroxy 2-pyridone. Used for dyeing or printing of linear polyester, polyamide or cellulose acetate fibres in yellow to violet shades. Gives good stability and high colour intensity, suitable in most cases for colour discharge printing by the alkali-reserve method.
