Zusammenfassung:An agricultural and horticultural fungicidal compsn. contains a 2-methylbenzanilide (I) e.g. 3'-ethyl-2-methylbenzanilide, 3'-isopropoxy-2-methylbenzanilide or 3'-sec-buthoxy-2-methylbenzanilide) and a phthalimide (II) (e.g. N-trichloromethylthio-3a, 4,7a-tetrahydrophthalimide or N-1, 1.2,2-tetrachloroethylthio-3a,4,7,7a-chloroethylthio-3a,4,7,7a-te- trahydrophthalimide (where R is alkyl or alkoxy; and R' is CCl3 or 1,1, 2,2-tetrachloroethyl) By synergistic action of the compsn. damping off of crops is controlled and disinfectant action is obtd. in low dose.
