Zusammenfassung:Organosilicon copolymers with statistically distributed monomer units in the chain are prepd. by the aminic copolymsn. of a vinyltriorganosilane (I) withi a conj, diene (II) or a vinyldimethylorganosilane (III). Copolymsn is effected in the mass or in a hydrocarbon solvent at 15-50 degrees C in the presence of an organolithium catalyst. (where R is 1-3C n-alkyl; R1 is 1-3C n-alkyl or phenyl; R2 is H or methyl; R3iis H or methyl; R4 is benzyl or 3-10C n- or i-alkyl; and R1 is not the same as R4). Esp. for medical purposes as a result of their compatibility with living tissues. Also for membranes separating industrial gas mixts., e.g. oxygen/nitrogen and helium/nitrogen as a result of their very high separation factor.
