Zusammenfassung:Ion exchange process consists of column with an ion exchange resin filling with a flexible membrane mounted above the bed, pref. stressed, with a closed prechamber under pressure on the upper side of the membrane. In the bed, at the base, is a filter device consisting of the one or more elements, and just below the membrane mounted on a sprung bowed pipe is a filter head. One is connected to the inlet while the upper one is connected to the liquor outlet. The prechamber is connected to the liquid inlet.
