The illuminable panel (20) has a construction containing a plurality of layers (61 62 63 64 65). The planar extent of the two side surfaces (61A 62A 62B 63A 63B 64A 64B 65B) of each layer (61 62 63 64 65) is bounded by an edge region (61C 62C 63C 64C 65C). The layers (61 62 63 64 65) of the construction bear against one another by the side surfaces (61A 62A 62B 63A 63B 64A 64B 65B) thereof. The layer sequence of the construction is defined wherein a first layer is a reflective covering (61) a second layer is a transparent polymer material plate (62) containing light scattering particles a third layer is a first glass pane (63) a fourth layer is a transparent polymer layer (64) and a fifth layer is a second glass pane (65).
