A microbial consortium comprising bacterial species of Streptomyces [MTCC5844], and Bacillus subtilis [MTCC5843]; fungal species of Aspergillus brasiliensis [MTCC5845], has been disclosed. Said consortium is capable of effectively degrading lignocelluloses.
