Zusammenfassung:	The invention proposes a motor vehicle differential (12) comprising a housing holding a differential mechanism (14) comprising a ring gear (18) attached to a cage (20) of planetary gears (22) said housing comprising a first half housing (10) that is capable of accommodating in a housing (24) the cage (20) of gears (22) and at least a part of the ring gear (18) and a second half housing closing the first half housing (10) the first half housing (10) comprising a chamber (26) that accommodates at least a part of the ring gear (18) and that comprises at least a main transverse wall (28) adjacent to a transverse face (30) of the ring gear (18) characterised in that the first half housing (10) comprises a means (32) for recovering the oil splashed onto the wall (28) and a means (34) for redirecting the recovered oil to the cage (20) of planetary gears (22).
