Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for providing a solar cell with a solder ribbon. The solar cell having at least one bus bar wherein flux is applied by means of at least one automatically controlled spray head and the solder ribbon is connected to a bus bar by means of at least one automatically controlled soldering unit and wherein the flux is only applied to those locations of the solder ribbon that are to be connected to the bus bar and/or that the flux is only applied to those locations of the bus bars that is to be connected to the solder ribbon. The invention further relates to an apparatus for providing a solar cell that has at least one bus bar with a solder ribbon according to such a method.
