Zusammenfassung:The present subject matter relates to a method for detecting a deviation of an actual injection quantity from a target injection quantity of an injector of an internal combustion engine comprising at least two injectors, wherein the at least two injectors are controlled to output the target injection quantity to accelerate the speed of the internal combustion engine from an output rotational speed (n0) to a target rotational speed (nmax), wherein the actual speed (101) is detected over time and a change in the actual speed (101) per unit time is determined as a rotational speed gradient (102, 202), wherein a variable depending on the rotational speed gradient (102, 202) is determined and is compared to a normal interval (105).
