Zusammenfassung:	A method for the preparation of thermoplastic terpolymers of trioxane which have an improved strength and can be processed by injection moulding and extrusion moulding at the same time as customary thermoplastics, in which the cationic copolymerisation of the trioxane is carried out with the addition of a crosslinking agent having at least two alpha -oxide groups or two cyclic acetal groups, such as, for example, epoxy resins, and of a molecular weight regulator, such as methanol or methylal.
