Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an ex vivo method of expanding a population of cells ex-vivo, while at the same time, substantially inhibiting differentiation of the cells ex-vivo the method comprising: (a) culturing said cells under conditions which allow proliferation of said cells, and (b) ex-vivo providing said cells at the same time with added Nicotinamide, thereby ex-vivo expanding the population of cells while substantially inhibiting differentiation of the cells ex-vivo.
